DESCRIPTION:Join us in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado for a guided foraging adventure! Melissa has been hiking in the mountains and fishing the glacial melt rivers around our Colorado public lands for years. She wants to share her knowledge of wild mushrooms and plant identification with you! She will be guiding your experience through Camp ACA pointing out fungi and plants as well as specimens you should avoid. Her objective is to give you all the skills necessary to embark on your own DIY adventures in the future. Learning the habitat Melissa points out is crucial to being successful in your mushroom and plant hunting. Enjoy the views\, ask questions\, and take amazing photos alongside new friends. \nPlease bring a mesh (not plastic) bag and a knife. Dress appropriately in layers for Colorado in comfortable hiking or athletic clothes and footwear.
