She has had lead a difficult life. At the age of 7 she became a foster child and was a ward of the state of Oregon for over 12 years. She was at this time an advocate and public speaker for teens in the foster care system. She also has been faced with many domestic violence situations through out her young adult years. She has also turned those situations into positive ones and now leads a domestic violence support group for women. She's faced many hurdles in life, however she has always choose adventures and her therapy is being outdoors and in touch with nature. She hopes to teach people that there is comfort in the outdoors and sometimes it is important to be apart of something bigger than yourself. Life is what you make it and getting outside and seeing the real beauty of this world is an amazing experience. She recently purchased an angler kayak and she's hoping to spend a lot of time on the water in the next few months.
