Through this program we hope to introduce our members and participants to the wonderful world of running and further grow a community centered around health, exercise, and the wonderful outdoors.
Comprised of a multitude of wonderful opportunities to get involved, there's something for everyone available through Run ACA, and you're sure to find your running home somewhere within.

What is Run ACA?
Always Choose Adventures believes in the healing power of nature, and the opportunities it provides us to push ourselves further and beyond our comfort zones. Run ACA is just that for anyone that has ever considered trail running and didn't know where to start.
Run ACA is brought to you by passionate runners who believe that everyone is capable of hitting the trails. This program is designed for any level of runner, from beginner to avid ultramarathoner. Our goal is to build an accountability community that helps you achieve your running goals.
We have educational webinars, group runs, social gatherings, and most importantly support of trainers, coaches, and mentors. So no matter where you are at in your running journey, we want to help you develop confidence one stride at a time.
Who is the Run ACA Team?
I truly believe in my heart that everyone can run & I love sharing the experience of seeing others fall in love with the sport the same way I did.
As a former D1 athlete making the transition from soccer to running was pretty seamless for me. Shortly after retiring from soccer in 2010, I joined a marathon running club and my passion for running has been burning ever since!
While I have run several half and full marathons, my joy for running is sparked on the trails and in the mountains. Whether it is a race, for time, or just seeing how far I can go… running has become ingrained in my daily routine.
Before I met Gabby in 2015, I was not a runner. At the time, running was something that was never on my radar. “I was a rock climber!” and I was sticking to it. That is until Gabby and I started dating and she signed us up for the 10k Fa La La run in Westminster CO. We started running together. She told me I was doing it wrong. I said “doing it wrong? You just do it.” Well she was right. I had learned some things which made The Fa La La a great race for me. My eyes were opened to the world of running.
After that initial 10k followed more 10ks, half marathons and some ultra marathons. Many accomplishments and setbacks were had. Along the way I got certified as a coach & trainer to deepen my understanding of exercise science and health. As the head coach at Cowbell Running, my mission is to help runners of all types create sustainability in their running and achieve their goals.
I’m stoked to be a part of this program and excited to meet all of you amazing human beings!
