MAKING ADVENTURES ACCESSIBLE TO ALL
Our mission is simple: To help people of all ages, backgrounds, skill levels, and physical abilities access the outdoors, get off the couch and disconnect from technology, while connecting with others.
Always Choose Adventures is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt.
OUR PROGRAMS

REWILD YOUR CHILD
Our ReWild Your Child Program is designed for local schools to encourage children to engage in daily adventurous physical activity in a safe and convenient manner.
Through our outdoor educational clinics, we eliminate economic barriers and provide the resources necessary to access the outdoors, promoting healthy minds and productive lives.

TRAIL TIMEOUTS + ADAPTIVE ADVENTURES
Our Trail Timeouts + Adaptive Adventures Program help others in need.
Trail Timeouts - ACA members take a break from adventuring and volunteer to better our community. We've volunteered at Denver Children's Home for 6 years to provide home cooked meals to the kids and staff.
Trail Timeouts - ACA members volunteer to work on local trails or highways to keep Colorado Clean.
Adaptive Adventures - We've partnered with Extreme Motus - Natures Accessible Wheelchair. The Always Choose Adventures Gear Library has TWO Extreme Motus Wheelchairs! Anyone with a disability can borrow one FREE of charge!

ANGUISH TO ADVENTURES
Our Anguish to Adventures Program is designed to offer ACA-members the opportunity to engage in virtual or in-person nature therapy sessions.
These sessions are facilitated by Adrienne Petrie, a licensed mental health professional, and co-founder of Peregrine Counseling and Wellness. Adrienne has extensive training and experience in EMDR Level II, child-parent psychotherapy, maternal mental health, trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
Our collaboration with Peregrine Counseling and Wellness is grounded in the belief that nature and outdoor activities can serve as a catalyst for healing, allowing individuals to focus on their mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.
