These expedition trips are designed to help you get fully immersed in a weekend of adventure: whether you have never climbed before or have all your own equipment, these expeditions are for you! We provide round-trip transportation from Golden, CO to our destination and provide food for the weekend.

Front Range Climbing Company has been providing multi-day trips for over a decade. We believe this is the best way to experience these wonderful places and an excellent way to grow in your skills and confidence. Spend the weekend with highly experienced guides learning, experiencing, and growing!
Our Moab Expedition is for those that are looking to experience rock climbing and canyoneering all while being close tothe town of Moab, UT. Moab is synonymous with outdoor adventure and this weekend will not disappoint! Rock climbingat the Theater and Cinema, canyoneering through Pool Arch and summiiting Looking Glass Rock are all things you can expect to experience while joining us for a Moab Expedition.

What’s Included:
- Guiding Services with Front Range Climbing Company with necessary permits.
- Ground Transportation from Golden, Colorado To Moab, and Return.
- Front Range Climbing Company will also provide you with all of the technical climbing gear you need for your trip such as a harness, helmet, and shoes. Other technical gear required for the trip will also be provided.
- Breakfast & Dinner Meals will also be provided and cooked by your lovely FRCC guides! *Reminder – Bring food for lunch and snacks for the day.
Day 1:
- 7:15AM: Arrive at meeting location in Golden, CO
- 7:30AM: Depart for Moab
- 1:30PM: Arrive at campground in Moab, UT
- 2:30PM: Head out for afternoon of canyoneering
- 7:00PM: Dinner provided by FRCC
Day 2:
- 7:00AM: Breakfast provided by FRCC
- 8:00AM: Head out for our morning of climbing or canyoneering
- 12:00PM: Self provided lunch during break between activities
- 1:00PM: Afternoon climbing and canyoneering
- 7:00PM Dinner Provided by FRCC
Day 3:
- 7:00AM Breakfast provided by FRCC
- 8:00AM: Head out for a morning of rock climbing
- 1:00PM: Head back to Golden, CO
- 7:30PM: Arrive back in Golden, CO
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT & GEAR LIST
- Overnight and Multi Day –
CAMP EQUIPMENT-
- Tent / Sleeping Bag/ Sleeping Pad, etc.
- Backpack for trip activities (at 15-30 liters in size)
- Duffle bag for personal item storage
- Sleeping Bag & Stuff Sack (rated at least 15° F)
- Optional: Liner for sleeping bag Sleeping Pad Travel Pillow Tent or Sleeping tarp setup
- Ground tarp for underneath tent or tarp
- Cooking/Kitchen Equipment
- Camp Stove
- Fuel Pots/Pans Fork/Spoon/Plate/Bowl/Cup etc.
- Camp Chair
FOOD- Lunch a and snacks for the duration of our trip.
FOOTWEAR-
- Hiking shoes
- Wool Socks
- If different then your hiking shoes: shoes that are fine getting wet. Chacos/keens/tevas/etc
- Camp Shoes (i.e. flipflops/chacos/crocks
CLOTHING-
- Underwear
- Base Layer – top
- Base Layer – Bottom
- Insulating Top layers (fleece jacket/packable down jacket)
- Hiking pants or shorts
- Polyester or non cotton T-shirt
- Rain Jacket
- Sun Hat

- Optional: Liner Gloves
MISC EQUIPMENT-
- Bandanna
- Water Bottles or Hydration Pack (At least 3L in total volume; must have at least 1L in hard- sided bottle form; the rest can be hydration packs or bottles)
- Headlamp (Make sure you have extra batteries)
- Personal Hygiene Items (Toothbrush, Toilet Paper, Medications, sunscreen, wet wipes, etc.)
- Technical Equipment (if applicable) Harness Climbing shoes Belay device Climbing helmet

All ACA events are NON-REFUNDABLE. If for some reason you cannot attend, please consider your purchase a donation.
If you are concerned about the possibility of having to cancel, we strongly suggest you purchase trip insurance to protect your vacation investment.
