Help us kick off another amazing season at the first off-grid outdoor education campground in the United States!
After a long winter, we’re getting camp ready for the 2025 season — and we could use your help!
We’re looking for volunteers, in-kind donations, and sponsors to join our community and support our mission of outdoor education and adventure for all.
Whether you’re a longtime supporter or new to Camp ACA, your energy and effort can make a huge difference. You’ll work side-by-side with our senior ACA volunteers who’ll help guide the day’s tasks.
🧰 What To Bring:
- Reusable Water Bottle (we’ll have extra water on site)
- Sack Lunch
- Work Gloves
- Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
- Sturdy Shoes (work boots, hiking boots, or closed-toe shoes)
- Bug Spray (we’ll have extra)
- Sunscreen (also provided!)
- Light Jacket or Rain Gear — weather can change fast!
🛠 Volunteer Tasks May Include:
- Campsite prep & clearing brush
- Tree trimming and removal
- Fencing repair and installation (upper & lower property)
- Moving & mounting camp signage
- Installing solar string lights & shade covers
- Road maintenance (heavy equipment operators appreciated!)
- Installing safety stations (fire extinguishers, oxygen, first aid)
- Prepping recreational zones: playground, hammock area, yoga space
- Creative signage & donation bin installation
- General tune-up & seasonal setup
- Plus other odd jobs — all hands are welcome!
