Anguish To Adventures
Mental health is more important now than ever, with people of all ages getting less social interaction due to COVID19. Community and connection are essential to mental well-being. Recreational therapy can be anything from having the sun in your face, the wind in your hair or anything that gets a person outdoors with the goal of alleviating symptoms of a mental disorder. Research shows a significant number of health improvements resulting from body movement and connection with nature including improvement in physical and cognitive health, community activities, recreation, hobbies and life decisions.

Couch To Trail
It’s hard to start new routines, meet new people, and develop new habits. Our Couch to Trail series will help with those struggles! The Couch To Trail Program Includes: Community. Consistency. Outdoor Recreation. and Health!

Littleton Public Schools
With about 15,000 students, LPS offers a comprehensive education from preschool through Grade 12. Students' mental health has been effected by isolation and COVID-19. ACA is here to help by getting these kids, and their families outdoors and into nature.

ReWild Your Child
he average American child spends five to eight hours a day in front of a digital screen, often at the expense of unstructured play in nature. The good news is departing from this trend is easier than you think, and quality outside time can fit into even the busiest of schedules. It is worth the effort; the benefits go beyond a little time spent in the fresh air.
